Do you know why some get rich and others are broke?
It’s very simple.
Napoleon Hill wrote: Success comes to those who become success conscious. Failure comes to those who indifferently allow themselves to become failure conscious.
You are “success conscious” when you are conscious of success. Here’s what this means.
You have an awareness of success much as you might become aware of a certain make and model of car you wish to buy. You start noticing them all over town.
They did not just appear. You merely began to notice them.
“Failure conscious” is the same thing, only in reverse. You notice failure, justify it, and dwell upon it.
And you do so “indifferently.” That is, you do so without realizing the huge mistake you are making.
Either way, bear this in mind this Earl Nightingale: The mind moves in the direction of our currently dominant thoughts.
Fortunately, you get to choose the dominant thought. So make it “success.”
And that’s why you will get rich and others will wonder why.
