Deck building tips

I wanted to share a story of what happened when I built my own deck to help out other people who might be doing their own project. I went to my local hardware store to find some popular woodworking plans for deck building because I figured they would be easiest for someone to read and understand easily.

I bought materials and went home where myself and a couple of buddies started work. By late evening we were all exhausted and decided to call it quits and we would return and finish the following day. My pals went home and I left the lumber outside thinking it would be ok to just resume the next morning.

When I woke up the next day, thieves had stolen my wood in the night! I can’t believe there are actually people that do this! We live in a nice neighbourhood! Anyways, be careful not to leave materials lying around as someone could take them…find some great porch and deck plans and happy decking! (We replaced the materials and finished the deck anyways, it looks great!)
