Casio Hitachi: Inspired by Japanese

For eight months of teaching English to Japanese online, I came to discover how special Japanese people are. I find them special not just because they eat raw fish/pork/beef; but because they have the attitude that I wish Filipinos also possess. Most of my students log in Skype on time. I seldom encounter late students. In fact, one of my students told me that he always sets the alarm clock of his Casio Hitachi mobile phone to remind him to take our lesson even if he’s at work. During the Fukushima disaster, the whole world was at awe while witnessing their stoic discipline, politeness and honesty. There were no looting or rioting since evacuees patiently lined up for rations. Why can’t Filipinos have that kind of character? I strongly believe that Filipinos are very talented people and if we are just able to change our mentalities, there is no impossibility for our advancement. I hope that everyone is inspired to take up the Japanese example amid the March 11 tragedy.
